Meeting Aunt Katie and first orange push-up with Papa

This weekend was a lot of fun. John Thomas got to meet his Aunt Katie for the first time! Aunt Katie is still in her residency in NYC so she does not get off very often. Uncle Kyle and Aunt Katie almost did not make it in this weekend due to the major ice/snow storm here in OKC, but thankfully old man winter did not stop them! It was a short visit but we all had a great time catching up and spending time together.

Uncle Kyle wanted to see some of Papa's farm while they were in town. so off we went.

On the move!

John Thomas is officially on the move! He started to crawl 5 days before his 10 month birthday. As you can see, he is still working on his form. More like an army crawl but it still gets the job done :) We are trying to get used to him moving about the house. One minute he is next to you and the next he exploring new territory. It is so fun to see him learn and do new things! Another first to report is that he can now feed himself. He is also getting better at taking steps as you hold his hands or when he is holding on to something himself. It is amazing what all he can do now!

Another Cousin on the way!!

Today we found out that Uncle Kyle (Mommy's youngest brother) and Aunt Katie are having a baby in September!! Congratulations to them both. They are going to be awesome parents!! We are so excited for them.

New Car, Story with Daddy and a Bath!

It has been freezing cold in OKC these days, so what better time is there to play with some new toys from Great Grandparents, read about farming with Daddy and take a warm bath in the sink! Even Bo wanted in on some of the fun.

First Christmas, Mommy's Bday and an Announcement!

We had a wonderful time in STL celebrating John Thomas' first Christmas!

As you can see, Santa easily found him at his Mimi and Poppy's house.

All of the fun was topped off with snow to make his first Christmas white!

First Christmas with the Cousins

We had a lot of fun getting together with Daddy's family at Aunt Amy and Uncle Chance's last night. Tomorrow we are headed to STL for Christmas with Mommy's family. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family! Nothing is better than celebrating the Holidays with your loved ones.

Opening an early Christmas delivery

John Thomas loved opening one of his first Christmas deliveries from Mommy's aunt in Florida. At first we thought he was more in to the wrapping paper until he opened his new doggie Scout, that sings and says his name. It was so fun to get a preview of him celebrating Jesus's birthday.
