The Sooners faced the Florida Gators for the BCS Championship game in Miami, Florida. We figured it may be a once in a lifetime opportunity to see two Heisman trophy winners face off so we made the journey to watch the big game with Cody's parents. It was close until the final quarter, but the Sooners just could not pull it together and lost :( However, as I reminded Cody, at least we made it to the big danc
e (Texas could have gone...)! After the game we went to the Florida Keys and South Beach for a couple of days of fun in the sun. It was a great time! The weather was beautiful. We all came back with a little sunburn, which is not bad for the middle of January!
