We had a lot of fun getting together with Daddy's family at Aunt Amy and Uncle Chance's last night. Tomorrow we are headed to STL for Christmas with Mommy's family. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family! Nothing is better than celebrating the Holidays with your loved ones.
John Thomas loved opening one of his first Christmas deliveries from Mommy's aunt in Florida. At first we thought he was more in to the wrapping paper until he opened his new doggie Scout, that sings and says his name. It was so fun to get a preview of him celebrating Jesus's birthday.
Yesterday when I picked John Thomas up from school I found him playing with his twin friends, Zachery and Xaiver. The twins are only a few days older than John Thomas and are crawling. Looks like John Thomas was wanting to catch up to them :)
John Thomas had a great time at his first Thunder game with Daddy, Mommy, Nanny and PaPa. He really liked all of the noise and lights. To top off all of the fun the Thunder held out for the win!
This Thanksgiving Cody and I went to Paradise Island in the Bahamas. We stayed at Atlantis and loved every minute of it. We never left the island. We took this trip to celebrate our 5th Wedding Anniversary this year. It is amazing to look back over the last five years and think about all of the glorious things that God has blessed us with, most importantly an awesome marriage and child! God is so Good!!!
The view from our room
Just below our room balconoy was a shark tank/pool
We had a fun filled afternoon at the OU Basketball home opener! Great seats helped keep John Thomas' attention on the winning game (five rows from the floor). As you can see in our pic with Sooner, all of the action wore him out.
Tonight John Thomas got his first haircut! His hair was really getting long around his ears so off to the barber shop we went. He did extremely well except for the occasional wiggle. After his hair was cut John Thomas watched Daddy get his hair cut as well.
After a week of being sick, John Thomas was thankfully well again in time to enjoy his first Halloween. He had a great time learning how to trick or treat from his cousinsRaegan and Ian. As you can see, John Thomas was a precious puppy!! He seemed to really enjoy his costume and walking the block with his cousins. Daddy seemed to enjoy his loot :)
After trick or treating he had dinner with Nanny and Papa
