The Great Oklahoma State Fair

This was the first year that john Thomas really could enjoy the Fair and boy did he ever. We started the fun by seeing Toy Story 3 on Ice. John Thomas' favorite part was when Mickey Mouse and his friends made an appearance. He also loves Buzz and Woody.

While Mommy was hosting a baby shower John Thomas and Daddy were hosting play time at the house with Jackson. The boys had a great time. John Thomas even shared a pair of his boots with his best bud since he just got a new pair. They are like two peas in the pod both in and out of daycare.

Neiman Marcus Fall Childerns Show

John Thomas was recruited by the Neiman Marcus Children's Department in St. Louis to show off some of Ralph Lauren's newest digs for the fall. Here he is taking a few practice runs down the walkway.

Even with all of the practice, here was his "first" official run....




I said "first" run because about five minutes later he decided he wanted to go by himself. Before we knew it or could stop him, he paraded the walkway again interrupting another child's moment as he proudly walked and waived to the crowd. The mother of the child kept yelling just ignore him, as he stole her spotlight...... Not a proud moment for his parents but John Thomas loved it :)

Good Bye Summer....

We said good bye to summer the best way we know how, a good trip to Lake Ozark!

Big Boy Bed!

Recently we purchased a new bed for John Thomas in hopes to get him out of our bed. As much as we love to cuddle with him, he is a wiggle worm and the time has come that he learns to worm in his own space. He was excited about his new bed and even helped pick out the bedding. He did a great job! Brown and white stars.

Sweet Success! Well sort of...

He loves his new big boy bed until about 2 AM

Well at least it is a start :)
