Fun in the tub and playing with Charlie and Bo

Tonight John Thomas sat up by himself for the first time in his tub! He loves bath time. His favorite thing to do is kick the water out. Yesterday he went for his 6month check up with Dr. Ellis. He weighs 18 lbs and is 27 inches long. He is in the 75 percentile for height and weight. Such a big boy :)

John Thomas loves his doggies!!

6 months old!!

Today John Thomas turned 6 months old!!! It is so hard to believe that a half year ago we welcomed our little blessing in to the world. He has changed so much since that wonderful day. Some of his more recent milestones include saying Daddy, almost sitting on his own, rolling over and eating more solid foods. Everyday we thank God for bringing him in to our lives!!! God is so good!!!

Uncle Kyle and first tailgate!

This weekend was full of fun and family! John Thomas met his Uncle Kyle (Mommy's Brother) for the first time. Uncle Kyle and Aunt Katie live in New York so we don't get to see them very often. We were so happy Kyle had a chance to come visit. Today we went to the OU game for John Thomas' first tailgate. Uncle Kyle and Daddy went to the game afterwards. John Thomas' favorite part of the tailgate, other than hanging out with family, was meeting some OU Cheerleaders!!

Fun with my cousins

This past weekend John Thomas enjoyed playing with his cousins at Nanny and Papa McPherson's. It won't be long until he is running around the house with them. I know Raegan and Ian are ready for him to be able to play more. They sure enjoyed showing him his new play pad and rattles from Nanny and Papa!

Labor Day trip to STL and Lake of the Ozarks

We had a great visit to STL and the Lake! John Thomas loved seeing his Grandparents and relaxing with Mom and Dad. Here he is in his new walker at MiMi and Poppy's. He went backwards really well. Hopefully the next trip he will master going forward :)

Gearing up for the first Sooners game of the season at the Lake with Daddy

So we lost..... John Thomas did not seem to mind! He was just happy to eat chicken and vegetables for the first time.

What a life! Here he is relaxing on the patio listening to the boats and water.
