Watching Baby Einstein for the first time

John Thomas is always curious of his surroundings. So, not surprisingly, yesterday while visiting the Browns we discovered that he loves to watch Baby Einstein!! If you think he looks like big boy in this pic he is! At his two month check up this week he weighed 14 lbs and is 24 inches long :)

Fun at Lake Ozark

This past weekend we went to Lake Ozark in Missouri for some fun in the sun. John Thomas loved the fresh lake air and listening to the waves crash upon the bank. He also had some fun the pool. Today he is two months old! It is amazing to watch him grow and do new things, especially smile and laugh :)

Cousin Raegan's Dance Recital

Today we went to cousin Raegan's first dance recital. It was a lot of fun! Raegan did a great job. Here is a video of her first dance. She is fifth from the right, so cute!!

First Mother's Day and Baby Dedication

Today was not only my first Mother's Day but also the day that we dedicated to raise John Thomas to follow Christ. As we stood up on the stage at church we began to tear up in amazement of God's blessing upon us. What a special way to celebrate Mother's Day!!

Six weeks old

John Thomas is 6 weeks old! Today we went to visit our friends at the Farm Bureau. It was a lot of fun to see everyone. This weekend we are looking forward to baby dedications at church and Mother's Day. It is still hard to believe that we are parents some days, it is such a blessing!!

What a big week!

This week John Thomas took his first plane ride to St. Louis to meet Mommy's family. He did great on the plane! He did not even make a wimper. After a fun trip to STL we spent Thursday afternoon at Daddy's office. On Friday he went to the doctor for his one month check up. He weighs 11 lbs 1 oz and is 21.5 in long!
