5 Months Old

John Thomas is five moths old today! My how time has flown by. He has changed so much. Some of his recent milestones include rolling over, sitting up for a few seconds unassisted and eating solids. Bananas are his favorite. By far the milestone closest to my heart was when he said Mama for the first time!!

Celebrating Daddy's 32nd Birthday

John Thomas had a great time celebrating Daddy's birthday at Eishen's in Okarche. It seems to have become a tradition. We love to take the drive every August just to eat the world's greasiest chicken!

What a blessing!!

Blessed with a week full of loving Grandparents

This week John Thomas got some help fighting off his cold with lots of love from his grandparents! As of today he is still not feeling so good. Nights are worse than days... Hopefully his week filled with visits from his grandparents will help speed his recovery. The first pic is with PaPa McPherson giving him his treats from Disney World. The next is of MiMi and his Great Nanna visiting from St. Louis. He loves his new highchair from MiMi and Poppy.

First Cold......

At 4:40 am today we awoke to a sick little boy :( John Thomas has his first cold.... Stuffy nose, cough, sneezing and watery eyes. We went to the doctor and of course there is not much we can do other than give him saline nose drops and lots of love. Hopefully he will start feeling better soon.

Enjoying the Bouncer

Tonight John Thomas enjoyed playing in his bouncer for the first time. He squealed with joy as he jumped and swayed. His favorite activity seemed to be playing with the toy frog, which is no suprise since his favorite toy on his carrier is also a frog :)
