First Infant Swim Resource (ISR) Lesson

For John Thomas' first birthday present, Mimi and Poppy signed him up for ISR lessons. They are not swim lessons, but swim rescue lessons in case he fell into a body of water unattended. He is taught how to roll to float, swim and get himself out of the water. It is a 6 week long course for ten minutes a day. He really did well his first day. This was taken by Sara, one of John Thomas' teachers. I thought it was a great shot of his beautiful baby blues! On another note, he went to the Doctor for his 15mos check up and all is well! He is in the 50% for weight and 25% for height.

Daddy's Day!

John Thomas and Daddy had a great day together! We started the day off with breakfast at Cracker Barrel and then went to Church. Daddy went to help Papa farm for a bit and John Thomas went to get Daddy his new coffee maker that he has been talking about for a month now (Thanks Brandon)! John Thomas is so blessed to have such a wonderful father!! We love him so much.

Summer has offically began!

We celebrated Memorial day this year at Lake Ozark.

The weather was almost perfect and the water was beautiful.

We were all so thankful for a few days of fun and sun!

John Thomas loves animals, including Daddy and Papa's cattle. He is not scared of them at all. If the cattle would let him, he would probably pet them. As I have said before, we are so lucky to be able to teach our child about agriculture!
