Cody's Bracelet

35 more days to go! As I reflect back on the last 9 months I can not help but think about how blessed we are and have been. There are days that I find myself in disbelief that we are actually going to be parents! Our dream is about to become a reality. Everyday we are reminded of the long road it has been to get us to this point by Cody's gray bracelet that he got at our fertility doctor's office during our IVF class (which turned out we did not need). The bracelet says "Have faith, Never loose hope." He has not taken it off since the class and promised to wear it until our little blessing arrives. Here is a pic of the bracelet that we took when I was 30 weeks along. As we have said before, God is so Good!!

Little Mac's Nursery

Here are a few pics of Little Mac's wild west themed nursery. Everything is in its place so now all we need is for him to arrive. I am starting my 35th week today! Only 6 more weeks to go (if I go full term). I went to the doctor this past week and she thinks he should be here around the last week in March. I figure he will come when he is ready :)

Little Mac's Shower

Today was Little Mac's shower! We had a great time. Cody's sisters did a wonderful job hosting the cowboy themed event. We are so blessed to have so many friends and family shower us with their love and generosity.

Thanks to everyone for helping us get ready for Little Mac's arrival. Only seven more weeks until we can use all of the cute onezies, outfits, blankets and other fun things that we received! p.s. Happy Valentines Day!!

Today Little Mac met Gov. Henry as he proclaimed "Farm Bureau Week."

8 Weeks to Go!

Can you believe it! We can not! As of today I am 32 weeks along. As I have said before, guess time flys when you are having fun. I am now seeing the doctor every 2 weeks and things are still going well. Little Mac and I are growing at a healthy rate. There are days when I do not know where more baby is going to go.... He seems to have taken over my entire mid section :) Other than some growing pains and not sleeping well I still feel really good. Next weekend (Valentine's Day) is Little Mac's baby shower and we are very excited! I will post pics of the shower and his sweet nursery soon.

Little Mac looks a lot like his Daddy!!

I went to the doctor today for a checkup and 3D ultrasound. Little Mac and I are doing great! He weighs 3.5 lbs and looks very healthy. The ultrasound machine says that he is due March 31, however the doctor did not change the original due date of April 6. I think Little Mac looks a lot like his handsome daddy! He has a lot of hair, the cutest nose and chubby cheeks. We did not get the best pictures due to him putting his arms and hands in front of his face every time the ultrasound wand went in for a peak, however I am thankful for the small glances that he did give us :)

Little Mac goes to the BCS Championship Game

The Sooners faced the Florida Gators for the BCS Championship game in Miami, Florida. We figured it may be a once in a lifetime opportunity to see two Heisman trophy winners face off so we made the journey to watch the big game with Cody's parents. It was close until the final quarter, but the Sooners just could not pull it together and lost :( However, as I reminded Cody, at least we made it to the big dance (Texas could have gone...)! After the game we went to the Florida Keys and South Beach for a couple of days of fun in the sun. It was a great time! The weather was beautiful. We all came back with a little sunburn, which is not bad for the middle of January!
