Easter Sunday 2012

This was the first year John Thomas really got the concept of Easter and why we celebrate the rising of Jesus.  He enjoyed learning the stories at church and all of the fun that goes along with it.  Of course, his favorite part of Easter was knowing that the Bunny found his house!

Spring Fling at Journey Church

 To celebrate the arrival of spring and Easter each year Journey has a Spring Fling.

 John Thomas loves to hunt for eggs, especially if they have candy in them :)

 After the egg hunt they learned about the Palms to praise Jesus.

First "Hockey" Lesson

John Thomas was so excited for his first "hockey" lesson! He has become obsessed with the Oklahoma City Barrons and all things hockey.  He was mad that he did not get to use a stick at the lesson.  We keep telling him that he needs to learn how to skate before he gets to use the stick and puck. He cried when he had to leave the ice.  Every time we drive by the rink he yells out with glee, "that's my hockey lesson!"
