Starting my 3rd Trimester!!

I can not believe that I am going to be a mom in approximately 3 months!! This pregnancy seems to have flown by. Guess time flys when you are having fun :) I still feel really good most days. I am still going to the gym and trying to eat well, however the holidays were a challenge. We went to STL to see family and friends for Christmas and are going to Miami soon to see the Sooners play in the BCS Championship game. We figure we better travel as much as we can before little mac gets here. Cody and I hope that you all had a very Merry Christmas and have a very Happy New Year!! 2008 brought many blessings for us and we can not wait to see what 2009 holds in store!

Little Mac hits the Big Apple

Hi Everyone! We had a great time in NYC! Here is a pic of us in front Rockefeller Center near the Christmas tree and where the Today Show is filmed. In addition to seeing all of the usual NYC sights, I also saw the Lion King. It was wonderful!! On Thanksgiving we ate at a restaurant with a great view of Manhattan with my brother Kyle and his wife Katie. We also went to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! That is something that I have always wanted to do. It was amazing to see the balloons up close as the bumped across Broadway and swayed to the sounds of various marching bands. Even during all of the fun, we could not help thinking about how thankful we are for god blessing us with Little Mac this year!! We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving as well!!

Little Mac meets the US Secretary of Agriculture

This past weekend the Secretary of Agriculture for USDA, Ed Schafer spoke at the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Convention. The Secretary was gracious enough to take a pic of me and our developing future farmer (Cody hopes)!

Half way there!!

20 weeks down, 20 more to go!! I can not believe that I am half way there! With each day we get more and more excited to meet our son :) April will be here before we know it!

Little Mac is a........

BOY!!!! Cody and I are so happy and blessed! We look forward to all of the fun that comes with having a little boy :)

Halloween Night

We love Halloween night! This year we had a lot of trick or treaters, including our niece Raegan and nephew Ian. Otherwise known as the princess and mouse :) All of our friends stopped by with their kids as well. We had so many kids that we ran out of candy at 9:00! Seeing all of the little ones made us think of how much more fun the next Halloween is going to be for us! We can not wait for our own little trick or treater to make the rounds to family and friends. Hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween!

p.s..... Only a few more days till we know if Baby Mac is a boy or girl!!

Every year we go to a Halloween party thrown by one of the partners at Cody's firm. This year we went as oil well drillers thanks to Cody's obsession with the show "Black Gold" on TruTV. It was a lot of fun! We wish all of you a safe and Happy Halloween!!

Starting My 18th Week!

What a difference a few weeks make! I am starting my 18th week and feel like I am growing by the day. This week I was able to go to the gym 4 times and feel great. Exercising sure does make a difference in how I feel. We are getting more and more excited to find out if Baby Mac is a boy or girl. Cody is now saying boy??? Guess we will find out soon enough! I am ready to start decorating the nursery.

Update on Little Mac's twin cousins

We found out this weekend that the twin cousins on the way are both boys! So exciting! We are looking forward to finding out if our own little one is a boy or girl soon. Either way, Little Mac will have tons of fun with his or her twin cousins :)

Boomer Sooner!

Cody and I have talked about going to OU vs. TX since we were dating and never had the opportunity to go since tickets are almost impossible to get, however this is our lucky year! I was somewhat concerned to go to the game 4 months pregnant, however to my and Cody's surprise I did really well. Of course I was tired but who is not after any football game :) Dallas is such a great city to host the Red River Rivalry! I love it there. So much to do so little time. The only bad part was that the Sooners lost. That's ok though since it was a tight game. We lead almost the whole time. For those of you who have never been, the game is at the Cotton Bowl in the middle of the TX state fair. Even if you do not go to the game you should go to the fair. They have the best funnel cakes I have ever had!

In my 15th week!

As promised, here is a pic of me in my 15th week! My growing belly reminds me everyday of the blessing god has given us :) Since we are about to find out if Little Mac is a he or she soon I am curious to hear what you all think we are having. Leave a comment and check back after Nov. 5th to see if you are right! Cody and I think girl but I have others tell me boy? Either way we will love and cherish our miracle.

Just a quick update!

Hi Everyone,

We went to the doctor today and she said that everything is great! My blood pressure is low and I have only gained 1 lb since the last visit. We were able to hear Little Mac's heart beat with the monitor for the first time today. The heart rate was 164. We will find out if Little mac is a he or she on November 5th so stay tuned! I have gotten requests for me to post pics of my growing belly and plan to put some up shortly. This weekend we are going to OU vs. TX for the first time and are really excited. Boomer Sooner!!

Little Mac's new friends

We heard yesterday that Little Mac's youngest friends will be twofold! Cody's cousin Casey's wife is pregnant with twins :) We are so happy and excited for them. Cody and I were just talking about how fun it would be to go through our pregnancy with friends. Well, again God is good! So far we know one of the twins is a boy and assume the other is a girl. How fun! The twins are only a week further along than Little Mac! Congrats Casey and Tracey!!

God is Good!!

Hi Everyone,

Thanks to our friends Carrie and Matt's wonderful blog (okjankowskis.blogspot.com)we decided to create our own to share the progress of our growing miracle. So far, Baby Mac is doing great! I am now in my 12th week of pregnancy! Time goes by so fast. I can not believe that I am about the start my second trimester!

For those who do not know, we planned to do In Vitro in September after trying to get pregnant for 3 years. As it turned out god had other plans! We were pregnant in our IVF class and did not even know it!! Cody and I feel so blessed and all we can say is "GOD is so GOOD!"
